In 1752, James and Sarah had 227 acres on both sides of Great Spring Ranch of Back Creek and North Mountain, in Frederick County.After James death, Sarah married Peter Ruble. In 1768, Sarah, Peter, and six Haworth children moved to Newberry County, South Carolina.
Sarah was possibly the daughter of James Wood, although her parentage has never been proven.

Some researchers have Daniel Dillon as Susannah's father. Daniel married Lydia Write. If Daniel was Susannah's father, then Lydia was her mother not Mary Rees.
